Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian President Serzh Sargyan sent a letter of congratulation to President of Public Council Vazgen Manukyan in regards to his seventieth anniversary.

“As one of the devoted organizers of Karabakh movement, you made an invaluable contribution to restoration of independent Armenian state and liberation of Artsakh. You showed your best qualities of a national and state figure during your work as an Armenian Prime Minister and Defense Minister in the hard and deciding times for our just independent country.

You continue to serve Armenia and Armenian people with the same devotion, governing the Public Council. You took the responsibility to run this important body, searching for ways to establish public concord and overcome possible internal disagreements,” says the letter of congratulation sent on February 13.
